De la colaboración entre tres músicos repartidos entre Oregón y California, TUKTUK es un proyecto que encontró su identidad a través de la distancia, la experimentación y la creación colectiva. Lo que comenzó como una banda de versiones y sesiones improvisadas en sótanos evolucionó hacia un laboratorio sonoro donde cada integrante aporta desde una autoría compartida. El trío presenta North, su sencillo debut: una pieza de indie rock con tintes cinematográficos que habla sobre la búsqueda, la esperanza y la necesidad de seguir avanzando incluso cuando el destino permanece difuso.

La letra retrata el viaje de alguien que persigue una presencia que oscila entre el recuerdo, el sueño y la posibilidad de un reencuentro. Formed through the collaboration of three artists working between Oregon and California, TUKTUK is a project shaped by distance, experimentation, and collective creativity. What began as a cover-band endeavor and a series of informal basement sessions gradually evolved into a songwriting collective built on equal authorship and a shared artistic process. Inspired by the vast and mysterious beauty of Oregon’s Columbia River Gorge, the band’s music exists between structure and drift, guided by emotional momentum rather than fixed destinations. Their debut single, North, introduces listeners to a cinematic indie rock journey centered on pursuit, hope, and the courage to keep moving forward despite uncertainty.
