Lüdo emerged in 2018 with one clear mission: to break every boundary built by musical conventions. Since then, the band has developed an identity rooted in perfectly controlled chaos, earning major opportunities such as headlining venues like Sub Scene in Oslo and RiP in Telemark, opening festivals like Måkeskrik, and supporting acts such as Honningbarna, The Dogs, and The Good The Bad and The Zugly. Now they return with Live Love Laugh, a single that blends the technical chaos of The Dillinger Escape Plan with the melodic explosiveness of Dance Gavin Dance and I Prevail, proving they have no interest in playing it safe.
Far from what its ironic title may suggest, Live Love Laugh is a direct critique of conservative ideologies that weaponize faith to justify hate, repression, and real social harm. The track openly calls out hypocrisy. The chorus feels like a direct confrontation against those destructive narratives. The band also raises an uncomfortable but necessary question with “Are we made in god’s image or is it made in ours”, challenging how belief systems are often shaped by human agendas.
