Zivi - Somewhere You're Not In (Indie Rock)

Zivi is a songwriter and producer originally from Maine and now based in Los Angeles, that creates songs where melancholy and nostalgia meet without becoming overly sentimental. With Somewhere You’re Not In, he delivers a track that explores the doubts, connections and comparisons that emerge when we navigate relationships with other people. Once again, his music combines an introspective sensitivity with a natural and approachable sound.
The song draws you in with an infectious groove, atmospheric guitars and an organic sound that gives room for Zivi’s deep vocal nuances to stand out. It came from reflecting on how some people seem to move effortlessly through social situations or career decisions, even though we can never truly know what someone is thinking, feeling or going through in the moment. The lyrics encourage us to question appearances and remember that everyone is figuring things out as they go.
