Questshun - The City's In Flames (Alternative Rock)

Questshun is a Denver-based rock band whose identity is built around powerful guitars, vocal harmonies, and introspective songwriting. Drawing influence from The Beatles, Nirvana, and Foo Fighters, the group combines catchy choruses with heavy guitars and a thunderous backbeat. Now, Questshun presents The City’s In Flames, a socially charged song that channels the energy of alternative rock to confront the violence and suffering caused by war.
The song addresses the devastation of war without holding back, describing scenes of destruction, death, and displacement while questioning the response of international institutions and political figures. The band reinforces that message through strong, organic production, vibrant guitars, and a driving groove that keeps the tension alive throughout the track. Meanwhile, the melodic vocal delivery, carried by bright tones, creates an effective contrast with the harsh imagery in the lyrics, making the song’s message hit even harder.
