MHELA es una banda italiana con influencias que van del metal alternativo y nu metal hasta el metal sinfónico, el proyecto se ha caracterizado por transformar angustias, miedos y puntos vulnerables en una propuesta sólida y poderosa. With Yorda, their latest single, MHELA continues to refine their modern metal identity.
The lyrics of Yorda revolve around loss, emotional decay, and facing an unavoidable reality. Using the image of a broken ring as a metaphor, the song explores a love corrupted by ignored flaws and inner darkness. The reference to “that monstrous part of you” highlights the destructive side we often choose to ignore, while the image of someone “imprisoned in her mind” reinforces the song’s introspective and tragic atmosphere.
