DISCARDED es una banda de deathcore y thall originaria de La Haya, Países Bajos, formada a finales de 2024 e integrada por Andy Meijer, Jan Manikowski, Liam Rolink, Nei Nikki Šon y Bas Gijzen. Known for their combination of crushing heaviness and atmospheric depth, the band presents Flourish || Forsaken, their new single and a clear step forward from their debut EP. At this stage, the group is sharpening its identity while making its creative direction increasingly clear.
The song tells a dark story of creation, love, destruction, and betrayal: an entity arrives in a desolate world, transforms it into a home, and nurtures life, only to watch its own inhabitants consume everything they were given until anger takes over.
