Dirt From Future es una banda de alternative metal radicada en Milán y formada por el dúo turco Atakan Gulsen y Kenan Korhan Odabas, junto con Stefano Topan en batería y Andrea Pallotta en bajo. La banda nos presenta Broken, su primer lanzamiento nuevo en casi un año y tercer sencillo. Su propuesta cruza la energía del nu-metal de los 2000 con recursos contemporáneos del metalcore, manteniendo una identidad pesada, dinámica y pensada para el escenario.

La rola nace de una tormenta intensa en Milán y convierte la lluvia en metáfora de una lucha interna marcada por agotamiento, aislamiento y aceptación. No se trata de negar las heridas, sino de reconocerlas sin permitir que otros impongan una solución. Musicalmente, tiene un sonido orgánico que recuerda al nu-metal de principios de los 2000, con riffs potentes, groove pesado y una estructura que alterna versos impulsados por rap y breakdowns demoledores. La voz pasa de lo melódico a lo visceral, reforzando la tensión. El resultado tiene músculo, dinámica y una energía que conserva el espíritu del metal alternativo de aquella época.

Dirt From Future is a Milan-based alternative metal band formed by Turkish duo Atakan Gulsen and Kenan Korhan Odabas, alongside Stefano Topan on drums and Andrea Pallotta on bass. Following their victory at Hard Rock Cafe New Talents On Stage 2025, the band returns with Broken, their first new release in nearly a year and their third single. Their sound merges the energy of 2000s nu-metal with contemporary metalcore techniques, maintaining a heavy, dynamic identity built for the live stage.
Broken was inspired by a heavy rainstorm in Milan and turns the weather into a metaphor for an internal struggle shaped by exhaustion, isolation and acceptance. “Don’t try to fix me” becomes its central statement: the song isn’t about denying the wounds, but acknowledging them without allowing others to impose their own solution. Musically, the track embraces an organic sound reminiscent of early-2000s nu-metal, combining powerful riffs, heavy groove and a structure that moves between rap-driven verses, anthemic hooks and crushing breakdowns. The vocals shift from melodic to visceral, intensifying the emotional tension. The result is muscular, dynamic and unapologetically heavy, while preserving the spirit of alternative metal’s Y2K era.
