Coilguns - Everything We Love, We Destroy (Alternative Rock)

Coilguns is a Swiss band that emerged from the DIY hardcore scene before developing its own explosive blend of punk and noise-rock. Known for raw, physical, and euphoric live performances, the band now returns with Everything We Love, We Destroy, the third new single leading into their fifth studio album, due November 6. Following Peace Trader and Carbon Magic, the group delivers perhaps its most direct statement yet.
Inspired by the tenth anniversary of the Paris Climate Accords, Everything We Love, We Destroy confronts the gap between environmental promises and the actions that follow. The song carries a mixture of fury, grief, and hope, while its dark atmosphere reinforces its energy and momentum. Meanwhile, the vocals are forceful yet melodic, featuring bright tones that contrast with the track’s physical and uncompromising instrumentation. The song captures the urgency of troubled times and turns a global concern into direct, visceral, and uncompromising noise-rock.
