Cogun - I am fine (Metalcore)
Cogun es el alias de Slava, productor y vocalista radicado en Praga, cuya trayectoria musical comenzó en 2002 explorando breakbeat, drum & bass y otros estilos mediante distintos proyectos. Entre 2006 y 2013 también fue conocido como Breakzhead, etapa en la que dirigió Subtribe Records. En 2014 nació Cogun como un espacio para experimentar sin fronteras de género. Ahora, Slava abre un nuevo capítulo con I am fine, su primer lanzamiento en este territorio y, además, la primera canción que publica con sus propias voces.
Con riffs potentes y una dinámica que atrapa, I am fine alterna momentos atmosféricos con cambios intensos que sacuden la escucha. El tema marca su incursión en el alternative metal y post-hardcore, combinando voces melódicas con secciones mucho más pesadas. Cogun is the alias of Slava, a Prague-based music producer and vocalist whose musical journey began in 2002, exploring breakbeat, drum & bass, and other styles across different projects. From 2006 to 2013, he was also known as Breakzhead, running Subtribe Records. Then, in 2014, he launched Cogun as a space to experiment without genre boundaries. Now, Slava opens a new chapter with I am fine, his first release in this territory and the first track he has released featuring his own vocals.
Driven by powerful riffs and an engaging dynamic, I am fine moves between atmospheric passages and intense shifts that hit with force. The track marks his first step into alternative metal and post-hardcore, blending melodic vocals with much heavier sections. Meanwhile, his collaboration with RØMΛN brings together two different musical backgrounds, creating a meeting point between melodic post-hardcore and modern alternative metal. Lyrically, the song explores the search for identity after experiencing silence, emptiness, and emotional disconnection.
