Chasing Dreams - Back Home (Alternative Rock)

Chasing Dreams is a post-hardcore band from North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, founded in 2021. Almost two years after releasing their EP time won’t tear us apart, the band returns with Back Home, a new single that opens the door to a fresh chapter. After taking a deliberate break to recharge and refocus, the group comes back with a renewed sense of energy, emotional connection, and hope.
With Back Home, Chasing Dreams explores the importance of having someone who remains by your side through difficult moments. The lyrics focus on support, trust, and finding a way back when everything seems overwhelming, while also addressing memories of a person who helped prevent self-harm during darker times. Musically, the track has strong dynamics, vibrant guitars, and vocals filled with bright tones and expressive nuances. As a result, the alternative rock foundation balances intensity with an emotional and uplifting atmosphere. The music video, created in collaboration with Hamburg-based dancer Paula Skriebeleit, further emphasizes the song’s themes of connection and hope.
