Burn my Shallow Ground - Break Me Apart (Industrial)

The project of musician Dominic Veit, Burn my Shallow Ground explores the darkest territories of Industrial and Gothic Metal through emotionally charged lyrics, poetry and strong literary influences. Now he presents Break Me Apart, arguably its heaviest and most aggressive step so far. Built around darkness, intensity and dramatic tension, the project turns human conflict into a dense, visceral and immersive sonic experience, with every element pushing the listener toward the edges of their own emotions.
The song captures the breaking point where lies and the loss of faith become too much to bear, eventually causing everything to collapse inward. Musically, the track hits with powerful riffs, vibrant and immersive synthesizers, and live drums that bring a raw sense of energy to its carefully crafted wall of sound. The deep, visceral vocals reinforce its dark and heavy atmosphere, while a massive chorus strengthens its industrial character. Benji Mundigler of Lord of the Lost contributed to production, Anton Fingerhut recorded the live drums, and Benny Lawrenz handled mixing and mastering.
