Desde Belgrado, Serbia, Backsprint ha encontrado una forma muy particular de mezclar el espíritu del country rock estadounidense con una sensibilidad más oscura y contemporánea. From Belgrade, Serbia, Backsprint has found a unique way to blend the spirit of American country rock with a darker and more contemporary sensibility. Led by Uroš Jojić, who grew up listening to country music on his father’s stereo before spending time in Michigan and California, the band has built a sound that connects southern rock, blues rock, and alternative pop influences. Now they return with Inside You, their fifth single, a deeply personal track that explores the emotional exhaustion of a long-term relationship.
Inside You portrays the silent deterioration of a relationship that seems held together more by habit and shared pain than healthy love. The lyrics communicate emotional exhaustion, dependency, and the feeling of being trapped in a connection that slowly consumes both people involved. Musically, the track delivers strong production while maintaining an honest and raw feel, made even more impressive by the fact that it was recorded without overdubs, pitch correction, or a click track.
