Deadweight es un proyecto crossover de metal y hardcore surgido entre Rottweil, en la Selva Negra, y Stuttgart, Alemania. De músicos provenientes de la escena hardcore de Stuttgart, el colectivo decidió ampliar sus horizontes incorporando influencias que van desde el thrash hasta el death metal, sin perder la actitud y el groove propios del hardcore. Sus letras suelen adentrarse en la psique humana, abordando temas como la fugacidad de la existencia, los conflictos personales y la salud mental. Ahora, junto a DEFIANCE HC, presentan Chronos, una descarga sonora que enfrenta al oyente con el peso del tiempo y la fragilidad de la memoria.
