Desde Noruega, Gjenferd es una banda integrada por Vegard Bachmann Strand, Jakob Særvoll, Samuel Gardner y Sivert Kleiven Larsen, y nos comparten Crimson Rain, el primer adelanto de su próximo álbum Black Smoke Rising, con el que marcan una etapa más accesible y contundente dentro de su sonido.
Crimson Rain
La letra se mueve entre imágenes oscuras, poder, manipulación y juicios inevitables. Habla de figuras que se alimentan de la atención, de relaciones convertidas en cenizas y de estructuras que se sostienen sobre mentiras. “As judgment falls from blackened skies” refuerza esa idea de un punto de quiebre, donde las máscaras caen y las consecuencias llegan.
La música de Gjenferd
En lo musical, se siente orgánico y bien producido.
