Harehound es una banda de Canadá que llegó para romper moldes. Lo que comenzó como el proyecto personal de Rebecca Raabis evolucionó hasta convertirse en un trío sólido junto a Colin Langstraat y Craig Gomez. La letra de esta rola es una explosión de inconformidad, una especie de grito intergaláctico. El puente remata con claridad: “We’ve been thinking ‘bout something different… I wanna feel more than I do right now”. Una frase simple, pero brutalmente honesta.

El sonido de Something Different está muy bien balanceado. Las guitarras son vibrantes, con riffs que te empujan hacia adelante. El bajo y la batería crean una base sólida que te mantiene flotando entre lo terrenal y lo cósmico. La producción suena orgánica, pero con detalles electrónicos que le dan ese aire futurista sin caer en clichés.
